Ready to go DEEPER?
Jesus used many stories and illustrations to teach the people as much as they could understand. In fact, in his public ministry he never taught without using parables; but afterward, when he was alone with his disciples, he explained everything to them. Mark 4:33-34 (NLT)
Jesus spent time with his followers away from the bustle of life. It’s where he taught them and took time to meet with them. DEEPER is where Storehouse Church family really develops. We encourage people to prioritise Tuesday evenings together and its growing fast with young teens through to older adults enjoying time invested together.
DEEPER takes place every Tuesday evening in term-time at Brook Farm and has three great components:
- 7-8pm BUZZ hour – time spent connecting over coffee, nibbles and chat with gamestations for the younger (at heart…) attendees!
- 8-9pm courses - we run a number of 8-week courses in parallel in small group settings. We cover a wide range of aspects of following Jesus in the 21st Century ranging from finance to faith; how to cope with exams to freedom in Christ; sharing faith to bible reading. - 9-10pm meeting with God – an extended time of worship, prayer and communion. Every month we have a keynote message setting out in more detail the vision and direction for the month ahead.
In between courses we take the 8-10pm time for “even DEEPER” – where we take time to meet with God, worship and pray for longer! Check out the calendar to see what’s coming up when…
As part of DEEPER we invite speakers from other local Churches and ministries join our teaching team. We also welcome members of other congregations to our courses but do ask that you check with your local Church leader before booking in!
